Equipment Maintenance

Keeping you moving.
When you rely on a piece of equipment to get around, a breakdown can cause massive disruption and inconvenience.
Scheduled, regular maintenance can greatly reduce the likelihood of an unexpected breakdown, but if the worst does happen – Rocky Bay Equipment is here for you too.
A mobile service will come to you and can usually fix the problem on the spot – depending on the parts required. Scheduled servicing can also be completed at your home or office, to keep you moving with minimal fuss.

  • Tyre and wheel repairs and replacement
  • Battery checks, repairs and replacement
  • Custom parts repairs and replacement.

A fully equipped workshop in Cockburn Central is also there for you for those more complex repairs. A full range of equipment is available for hire while your main support is in the workshop. See the range of hire equipment

Rocky Bay Equipment’s Maintenance division will service and repair your disability equipment either at our Cockburn Central workshop or on the road at your home or office with our mobile service.

How often your support device requires a service depends on the complexity of the equipment and how you use it, but for example, powered wheelchairs and mobile hoists should be serviced at least every 12 months to prevent inconvenient breakdowns.

Yes, just like a car service, you receive a report of the work done and recommendations for parts that may need replacing in the future.
