In partnership with your family, carers, support coordinators and therapists, our equipment experts can advise, source or even custom build the equipment you need. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Our technicians can design and build a custom solution for you at our Cockburn Central workshop. A mobile repair and maintenance service is also available for regular upkeep or those annoying emergency breakdowns.

Now you can access the equipment you need, your way. Rocky Bay gives you the option to trial, hire or buy anything from wheelchairs to commodes giving you the freedom to decide what's right for you.
Hiring equipment is an ideal way to cover a temporary need, keep a low cost ‘back up’ device, or to try out a piece before you buy. Reasons why our customers hire equipment include:
- Short term use after injury or surgery
- When family members are coming to stay
-To try an item out before committing to buy
- A second device as back up for a primary piece, for example a manual wheel chair as back up to a powered chair
The cost of hiring a piece will be deducted from the purchase price should you choose to keep your item.

Rest assured it is safe to use, as all (non-electrical) equipment is professionally sterilised in a hospital grade sanitising machine to ISO 15883 standards.
